FAQs
Do I need a formal ADHD diagnosis before booking?
1
No.
Many parents contact me before a diagnosis has been made because they are trying to better understand their child's experiences and challenges.
A consultation can help you explore your concerns, understand possible needs and consider appropriate next steps.
What age children and young people do you support?
2
I support parents of school-aged children and young people, from primary through secondary education.
My experience includes supporting children with different learning profiles, needs and challenges across a wide range of ages and educational settings.
Do you work with families outside the UK?
3
Yes.
I provide online consultations for UK and international families worldwide.
Having worked in both UK and international schools, I understand the challenges families may face when navigating different countries, cultures, curricula and approaches to support.
What happens after I book?
4
After booking, you will receive confirmation details and a short questionnaire.
This allows me to understand your main concerns and make our consultation as useful and focused as possible.
You may also share any relevant information you feel would help provide context, such as school feedback or reports.
Do I need to prepare anything before the consultation?
1
No special preparation is required.
It is helpful to think about:
your main concerns;
your child's strengths;
situations that feel challenging;
questions you would like to discuss.
The consultation is a space to talk through your child's individual situation.
What will I receive from the consultation?
2
You will leave with greater clarity about your child's needs and practical ideas to consider.
Depending on the consultation chosen, we may explore:
understanding your child's profile;
possible areas of support;
strategies for home;
communication with school;
next steps.
Do you work directly with schools?
3
My primary service is supporting parents.
However, my experience as a SENDCO and Head of Learning Support means I understand how schools operate and how families can work more effectively with educational teams.
Do you diagnose ADHD?
4
No.
I do not provide medical diagnoses.
My role is to provide educational guidance and parent support based on my experience in Psychology, Special Educational Needs and many years working within schools.
